Youth for Christ - 'YFC-ONE' Placement
Leigh-Anne Philp joined H2O for eight months in 2006/7 and in that time experienced numerous youth work opportunities. During her time in Oban she was instrumental in forming and running a weekly girls' group, P'n'D's, coming together socially and to dig into the Christian faith. Highlights of the group included composing and performing the'Rabbie Rap' in memory of Roberts Burns and the famous 'Gangsta' night.
In June 2008, the fourth group of over 40 young people from many area churches attended FRENZY '08, the 10-hour Christian music festival held at Ingliston showground, Edinburgh.
